CloudBees came to us wanting us to design a premium t-shirt that would be a bit edgy and "cool". The VP of Engineering said he wanted a t-shirt a skater would wear. We took the CloudBees logo and name as the start of our inspiration and branched into looking at images of bees, circuit boards, clouds, and honeycomb. We came back to the company with "alien bee". A bee that kicks butt and takes names.
